Hi  I'm  JamES!

Over the past 15 years, I've had the pleasure to meet so many great people and experience amazing things that I never would have without photography.  Being a photographer is a backstage pass to life. I feel incredibly lucky to make a living creating art and telling people's stories.

My approach is comfortable and relaxed.   l like to mingle and chat people up,  find out who's who; get everyone comfortable with the guy waving the camera around.   Of course, I'll coordinate and direct when needed, but always prefer to let things unfold naturally and to be as unobtrusive as possible.

Photographically I look for honest and interesting situations, keep compositions simple and and seek out amazing light. Portrait sessions should be short enough to stay fun, and showcase the genuine personality of everyone involved.  I LOVE photographing receptions...the crazier the party the better the pictures!
